Treatment philosophy: “I believe that patients receive the best care when they are actively engaged in their own healthcare management. As a provider, I strive to build a trusting relationship with my patients through open communication, respect for individual values and treatment choices. I believe in treating the whole person and I want to impart in my patients that I am here to be of service to them in their health care needs.”
Special interests: “I enjoy working with patients of all ages; however I find geriatric medicine fascinating. I feel privileged to be a part of their decision making in healthcare choices in order to achieve quality of life on a continuum.”
Professional journey: “When I was a young girl, I accompanied my grandmother while she delivered babies at a remote village in Cambodia where I grew up. Both my grandmother and mother imparted in me a sense of understanding of what it means to be of service to others. I dedicate my profession to these two beloved women who were so influential in my life.”
