Professional journey: “I became interested in medicine while I was in high school. I enjoyed my science classes and my chemistry teacher encouraged me to pursue a career in medicine. When I got into college and medical school, I found it very rewarding to work with people and to help them feel better and stronger.”

“When I’m not treating my patients, I enjoy… spending time with my 2 children and my husband. We like to go camping, hiking and biking. I also enjoy making quilts and crocheting blankets.”
