Treatment philosophy: “Patients come to us for the latest health care information and the best in preventative care, as well as to ease their present symptoms. Although disease (dis-ease) manifests in many forms, our care needs to begin with effective listening and communicating. In this way patient and provider become partners in healthcare management.”
Special interests: “I enjoy the wonderful diversity of peoples I see everyday at SFFHC, both in ages and cultures.” Over the years Barb has developed an interest in dermatology. “The skin we live in is our ‘first impression’ and problems here can affect self esteem and confidence. I recognize this and do everything I can to correct the problems as quickly as possible.“
Professional journey: Barbara has worked in many related medical fields but always felt that she could do more, that she wanted to do more. “As a PA, I have the tools to ease the discomfort that we all experience at one time or another, whether physical, mental, or emotional. When I came here to SFFHC, I immediately felt comfortable with the providers and staff. I think we make a great team and deliver great care.”
